Resting and Relaxing With Essential oils

I don’t know about you, but after a long day all I want to do is destressed and relax in a hot bath with one of my favorite essential oils (usually lavender).

I combined 2 ounces of coconut or almond oil and 20 drops of essential oil of my choice, and then pour into my hot bath water and enjoy.

When getting ready for bed…I also, sprinkle 5 drops of lavender on my pillow 💚

Another way to help you relax is by getting or giving an aromatherapy massage. You can make your own massage oil mixing 8-10 drops of essential oil of your choice with 1 ounce of carrier oil of your choice (I use almond or coconut oil). Apply to hands and then gently begin massaging and enjoy 😉

Keep in mind essential oils enter into your bloodstream by absorbing through your skin. With this in mind… Always use a carrier oil to dilute essential oils.

Another thing to keep in mind…Always do a patch test, to check for allergies. I know you maybe asking, “how do you do a patch test?” Well, your in luck I’m going to tell you.

Mix one drop of essential oil with a teaspoon of carrier oil. Put a little bit on the inside of your wrist. Leave on for 24 hours without covering or washing the mixture off. After 24 hours, I’d You do not see any redness, blotches, or any I itching you are not allergic to essential oils diluted with carrier oils. If redness, blotches, or itching should occur. Rinse off immediately with warm water and soap.
